Description

You will own the administration, deployment, and optimization of the TIBCO middleware ecosystem, including BusinessWorks, EMS, and TEA.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch, and upgrade TIBCO BW 5.x/6.x, BWCE, EMS, and TEA.
• Deploy and manage BWCE applications on Docker and Kubernetes in on-prem and cloud environments.
• Administer EMS queues, topics, clustering, failover mechanisms, and ACLs.
• Monitor service health, optimize performance, and enforce security policies.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins, supported by Unix/Bash and Python scripting.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of TIBCO middleware experience, including 3+ years in a senior or lead capacity.
• Deep expertise in TIBCO BW 5.x & 6.x, including domain management, engine configuration, palettes, and monitoring.
• Strong experience with BWCE containerization, Docker builds, and deployment.
• Proficient in EMS administration, including clustering, failover, security, and tuning.
• Experience with TEA, including agent management, lifecycle, and dashboards.
• Strong scripting skills in Unix/Bash and Python.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and observability tools (Splunk, ELK, Dynatrace, New Relic).
• Experience with GitLab and Jenkins for branching, pipelines, and artifact management.

Preferred Skills

• TIBCO certifications (BW Admin/Developer).
• Experience with GitOps tools (Helm, ArgoCD, FluxCD) or IaC (Terraform, Ansible).
