Description

You will own the full development lifecycle for cross-product transactional pricing systems within the financial markets domain.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop latency-sensitive, real-time single-page modular applications using React and TypeScript.
• Write efficient, clear code with accompanying test suites and adhere to strong software design principles.
• Drive requirements and development efforts as a self-starter in an agile environment.
• Provide second-line support and maintain financial market systems.
• Collaborate with global teams to deliver quality solutions for business-critical customer requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on development with investment banking IT experience.
• Core JavaScript and TypeScript expertise.
• Strong proficiency with React, npm/yarn, and webpack.
• Experience with real-time (event-driven) architectures and understanding of event-driven application development.
• Strong CSS skills and ability to develop single-page modular applications.
• Experience with git and Atlassian toolset.
• Ability to articulate technical implementations and design decisions clearly.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with RxJS and Java.
• Domain knowledge in e-trading, FX, and derivatives business.
