Description

Design and maintain responsive, cross-browser front-end applications with a focus on accessibility and component reusability.

Responsibilities

• Create reusable UI components using JavaScript, jQuery, and ReactJS.
• Implement web-accessible page designs in collaboration with UX architects.
• Participate in functional and technical design sessions, requirement analysis, and estimation.
• Execute coding, unit testing, debugging, and implementation activities.
• Ensure all development meets WCAG web accessibility guidelines.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in front-end design and development.
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and SASS.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6) and ReactJS.
• Hands-on experience with Storybook, Webpack, and NPM.
• Experience with jQuery and integrating web services/APIs.
• Proficiency in unit testing using Jest and React Testing Library.
• Working knowledge of Jenkins build processes and code check-in/out workflows.
• Experience working within a defined Design System and style guide.
• Deep understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG AA compliance) and W3C WAI.
• Ability to use browser developer tools for debugging.
