About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior UI Engineer to lead the front-end development of our next-generation Warehouse Management System (WMS). You will play a pivotal role in designing and developing intuitive, scalable, and responsive user interfaces that empower users to efficiently manage warehouse operations. This is a high-impact opportunity to redefine the user experience for a critical business application.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, back-end engineers, and UX/UI designers, to create seamless and user-friendly interfaces.
- Lead the development of robust, responsive, and accessible front-end components using React and React Native.
- Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable UI components to support the functionality of the WMS across web and mobile platforms.
- Translate complex business workflows into elegant and efficient UI/UX designs.
- Optimize front-end performance to ensure a seamless user experience in high-demand environments.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the technical direction of the WMS front-end rebuild.
- Implement best practices for UI development, including accessibility standards, performance optimization, and testing.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote a culture of excellence within the engineering team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Senior experience in front-end development with a strong focus on React and React Native.
- Proven experience building complex web and mobile applications with an emphasis on scalability and performance.
- Strong understanding of modern front-end development practices, including component-based architecture, state management (e.g., Redux, Context API), and hooks.
- Experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs and back-end systems.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and related front-end technologies.
- Familiarity with tools and frameworks like Webpack, Babel, and testing libraries (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
- Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and a keen eye for design and usability.
- Experience working on enterprise-level applications, ideally in warehouse or supply chain management, is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of WMS workflows and familiarity with domain-specific challenges in logistics and operations.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
