Description

Lead the design and delivery of UI-driven enterprise applications using Angular, React, and Java/Spring Boot.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build full-stack solutions with Angular or React, TypeScript, and Java/Spring Boot.
• Define technical direction, ensure code quality, and guide design decisions for UI modernization.
• Deploy and manage cloud-native applications on Azure using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Git, ensuring robust testing coverage.
• Mentor teams of 3-5 developers and support production systems for business-critical operations.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of IT experience with a strong focus on UI and full-stack development.
• Hands-on expertise in Angular, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong backend skills in Java 8/11/17+, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST/SOAP web services.
• Experience with Azure Cloud services and cloud-based application deployments.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools including Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, UI test frameworks) and API documentation (Postman, Swagger).
• Understanding of monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Grafana, Kibana, or ElasticSearch.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and leading end-to-end application delivery.
• Domain knowledge in utilities or regulated enterprise environments.
• Ability to collaborate across geographically distributed teams.

Bachelor’s degree required; 4+ years of progressive experience in lieu of education accepted. Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.
