Description

You will design and implement automated UI test solutions for an Excel-based add-in.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated UI test scripts using UFT and VBScript or JavaScript.
• Analyze business and technical requirements for the FDR Excel-based add-in.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
• Execute test suites, analyze results, and track defects in Jira.
• Create test plans, test cases, and summary reports.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in UI test automation.
• Proficiency with Unified Functional Testing (UFT/OpenText).
• Strong expertise in VBScript and/or JavaScript.
• Experience with the Excel object model and Office automation.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Experience using Bitbucket or GitHub for source control.
• Experience with Jira for defect tracking.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Bamboo or GitHub Actions.
• Previous experience testing Excel add-ins.
