Description

Maintain and optimize Unix/Linux production systems, owning CI/CD pipelines, automation, and incident response.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain reliability, availability, and performance of Unix/Linux production systems.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and deployment processes.
• Lead incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and remediation.
• Implement monitoring, logging, dashboards, and alerting using observability tools.
• Perform capacity planning, system tuning, and security patching.

Required Skills

• 8+ years supporting Unix/Linux platforms in production (RHEL, AIX, or Solaris).
• Proficiency in Bash and Python for automation.
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management.
• Hands-on CI/CD tools: Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
• Knowledge of Splunk for monitoring and observability.
• Experience with Kafka messaging technologies.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Understanding of Docker containerization.

Preferred Skills

• Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or operational excellence experience.
• Containerization and orchestration with Kubernetes or OpenShift.
