Description

You will lead UX/UI design efforts to create user-centric solutions for education technology applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Oversee UX/UI designs to ensure adherence to agency standards and industry best practices.
• Translate research into user stories, requirements, flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Conduct user testing and outreach to validate that products meet end-user needs.
• Collaborate on the product roadmap with product managers and senior leadership.
• Partner with developers and internal/external teams to ensure successful deployment.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software product development, digital design, or UX/UI.
• 8+ years of experience designing mockups and wireframes following UX best practices.
• 8+ years of experience conducting user and usability research.
• 8+ years of experience maintaining a professional portfolio of user research, visual design, and usability studies.
• 4+ years of experience leading large-scale UX/UI efforts.
• 4+ years of experience developing wireframes, mockups, and prototypes in Figma or comparable design software.
• 3+ years of experience ensuring designs and websites conform to federal accessibility guidelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using Atlassian Jira for issue tracking.
• Experience working with TEA or other state/local education agencies.
