French language skills (A1 level). Experience working with early-stage or evolving products including managing ambiguity and shifting priorities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end UX design for DIALOGS, focusing on diagnostic log exploration, troubleshooting workflows, event timelines, and error interpretation.
- Translate technical and operational concepts into structured workflows, wireframes, interaction models, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Produce clear interaction specifications and design documentation for smooth collaboration with developers throughout the development process.
- Communicate design decisions effectively using user flows, diagrams, storyboards, and interactive prototypes to stakeholders.
- Understand how technicians and maintenance engineers interpret logs, identify root causes, and validate corrective actions.
- Conduct usability testing, heuristic evaluations, and gather user feedback to drive iterative improvements across the platform.
- Integrate operational constraints, product requirements, and usability insights to refine the overall product experience.
- Contribute to Alstom's design system through reusable components, comprehensive documentation, and pattern refinement initiatives.
- Promote consistency across screens, interactions, and accessibility standards within the DIALOGS application ecosystem.
- Collaborate with engineering counterparts to ensure feasible and scalable component implementation across all platforms.
- Apply accessibility principles including WCAG standards across all designs, ensuring inclusivity and clarity for all users.
- Identify potential usability risks early in the design process and help teams mitigate them effectively.
- Review user workflows and identify friction points in troubleshooting and diagnostic interpretation to improve user experience.
- Recommend improvements based on user behavior analysis, system patterns, and practical maintenance workflows.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align product goals, technical feasibility, and design quality standards.
Experience Required: 6+ years of UX, interaction design, or digital product design experience with a strong portfolio featuring complex workflows and data-heavy interfaces.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Design from design school/university, HCI, or equivalent practical experience
