Description

You will lead the creation of user-centered designs for web applications by balancing business requirements, user needs, and technical constraints.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and evaluate wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs independently.
• Maintain and contribute to the design system to ensure product consistency.
• Model and analyze software workflows, specifically focusing on modeling and analysis software similar to Ansys products.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure design feasibility.
• Contribute to design and methods patents implemented within software.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio.
• Master-level expertise in Figma, Sketch, Framer, or Adobe XD.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JS.
• Experience with CAD/CAE software.
• Knowledge of responsive design and accessibility standards.
• Experience managing the full software development lifecycle from ideation to shipment.
• Experience modeling and analysis software and workflows.
• Ability to prioritize UX-focused software problems and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• HCI Certification.
• Experience with modeling and simulation applications.
• Ability to prototype rapidly using any available tools.
