Description

Lead strategic research initiatives, mentor the design team, and manage operational metrics for the UX function.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Develop partner relationships to identify new research opportunities and validate requests into clear phases.
  • Own capacity planning by matching work to team specializations to optimize staffing and project velocity.
  • Provide technical oversight during synthesis and delivery, coaching team members in qualitative methodology and experience mapping.
  • Operate team metrics to report on research volume, impact, and business outcomes using data from multiple sources.
  • Maintain team infrastructure including process documentation, digital whiteboards, and SharePoint sites.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of end-to-end qualitative research experience, including planning, moderating, and analyzing generative data.
  • 6+ years of project management and operations experience using formal PM methods to manage complex stakeholder expectations.
  • 6+ years of quantitative measurement experience, including generating metrics, data cleaning, and reporting on research impact.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and data management.
  • Expert knowledge of collaboration tools like FigJam and Zoom Whiteboards for synthesis and workshops.
  • Experience with MS SharePoint site management and basic familiarity with Maze for reviewing unmoderated tests.
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain project velocity and invest in team culture.

Preferred Skills

  • Strategic depth in moderated strategic efforts and broad, nuanced human conversations beyond digital interfaces.
  • Executive presence with advanced communication skills for presenting findings and roadmaps to Senior leadership.
  • Advanced facilitation skills in negotiation, consensus building, and workshop theory.
