Description

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer to design intuitive, accessible, user-friendly, and visually engaging digital experiences across web and mobile applications.

The successful consultant will bring strong experience across UX/UI design, user research, interaction design, prototyping, wireframing, usability testing, and stakeholder facilitation. The role requires the ability to independently define and lead UX initiatives, conduct design workshops and alignment sessions, and collaborate effectively with developers, QA specialists, business stakeholders, and other cross-functional team members.

Strong hands-on experience with Figma, Canva, or similar design and prototyping tools is required.

Scope

Create effective, user-friendly, accessible, and visually appealing digital interfaces.

Design overall product functionality to deliver intuitive and engaging user experiences.

Apply a user-centred design approach and continuously test and iterate designs based on user feedback.

Lead UX projects, design workshops, stakeholder consultations, and alignment sessions.

Manage end-to-end user research activities, from participant recruitment through research synthesis.

Assignment Deliverables

Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user flows, user journeys, mockups, and prototypes.

Create GUI and interface designs based on user interactions, behaviours, needs, and performance considerations.

Plan and facilitate user research, interviews, surveys, questionnaires, and stakeholder consultations.

Translate qualitative and quantitative user findings into actionable design recommendations.

Develop prototypes and conduct usability/user testing to validate design decisions.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

Demonstrated experience creating GUI designs based on user interaction and performance.

Strong experience as a UX Designer, Interactive Designer, UI Designer, or similar role, designing web and mobile applications.

Demonstrated ability to define and lead UX projects, design workshops, and alignment sessions with stakeholders and business users.

Experience managing end-to-end user research, including participant recruitment, research execution, analysis, and synthesis.

Strong experience conducting user research, interviews, surveys, questionnaires, and consultations.

Experience translating research into sitemaps, user flows, user journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.

Strong proficiency with Figma, Canva, and comparable design/prototyping tools.

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of applicable Digital Service Standards.

Experience addressing complex design challenges involving legacy systems and multifaceted stakeholder or approval relationships
