Description

Lead the modernization of legacy user interfaces into intuitive, user-centric experiences for Angular-based web applications.

Audit existing legacy UX/UI components, workflows, and user journeys to identify improvement areas. Translate legacy interfaces into modern designs that maintain usability and accessibility within Angular frameworks. Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, mockups, and final UI specifications using Figma. Define and maintain a consistent design system and component library. Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure seamless design-to-code implementation. Conduct user research, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews to validate design decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Audit legacy UX/UI components and user journeys to identify improvement areas.
  • Translate legacy interfaces into modern, accessible designs within Angular frameworks.
  • Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI specifications in Figma.
  • Define and maintain a consistent design system and component library.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers on design-to-code implementation.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of UX/UI design experience for complex web applications.
  • Hands-on experience designing for Angular applications or working with Angular teams.
  • Proficiency with Figma for prototyping and high-fidelity design.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS to understand component translation.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility guidelines.
  • Experience redesigning legacy systems into modern, intuitive user experiences.
  • Ability to maintain detailed design documentation, including user flows and component guidelines.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Material Design, Angular Material, or Tailwind.
  • Familiarity with Angular components, architecture, Git, CI/CD, and Storybook.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and human-centered design methods.
