Description

You own the design system, ensuring consistency and technical alignment across the platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and own the Figma design system library using advanced Auto Layout, Variants, and component nesting.
• Design and document component interaction guidelines (Do's and Don'ts) for the Asio platform.
• Lead component quality assurance by testing visual quality and interaction in both Figma and code.
• Govern the system contribution pipeline, reviewing, approving, and merging new variants proposed by other teams.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to define feasibility and facilitate the release of new components.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of progressive UX/UI design experience, with 3+ years focused on scaling design systems.
• Expert-level mastery of Figma, leveraging advanced features like Auto Layout and Variants.
• Demonstrated knowledge of atomic design principles and system governance methodologies.
• Deep understanding of front-end constraints, including basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Ability to ensure 1:1 parity between Figma components and corresponding React code.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design system contribution and cross-functional impact.
• Experience with component frameworks, such as React.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing for Accessibility (WCAG).
• Experience with advanced documentation tools like Storybook.
