Description

You will design user-friendly interfaces aligned with established UI/UX standards.

Responsibilities

• Design user interfaces adhering to Baxter design patterns, W3C accessibility guidelines, Google Material Design, Apple Human Interface Guidelines, and Android Design Guidelines.
• Conduct user research, including customer interviews and usability studies.
• Create UI prototypes for testing and marketing purposes.
• Plan, moderate, and document usability testing, including final reports.
• Provide UX guidance to cross-functional teams and recommend product and process improvements.

Required Skills

• Advanced Figma expertise, including components and variants, design tokens and variables, auto-layout, themes, and Design Language Systems (DLS).
• Strong foundation in UX/UI Design principles.
• Strong visual design and branding experience.
• Excellent communication skills to explain and document design decisions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, developers, and product teams.
• Ability to work independently.
• Willingness and ability to travel to Baxter and/or customer sites as required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with medical devices or regulated industries.
