Design and prototype user interfaces for medical device applications, ensuring compliance with global accessibility and design standards.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design user interfaces adhering to Baxter design patterns, W3C accessibility guidelines, Google Material Design, Apple Human Interface Guidelines, and Android Design Guidelines.
• Conduct user research, including customer interviews and usability studies to validate design decisions.
• Create high-fidelity UI prototypes for testing and marketing purposes.
• Plan, moderate, and document usability testing, producing final reports with actionable insights.
• Provide UX guidance to cross-functional teams and recommend product and process improvements.

Required Skills

• Advanced Figma expertise, including components, variants, design tokens, variables, auto-layout, themes, and Design Language Systems (DLS).
• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design.
• Strong foundation in UX/UI design principles and visual design.
• Experience with branding and creating consistent design systems.
• Excellent communication skills to explain and document design decisions clearly.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, developers, and product teams.
• Ability to work independently and travel to Baxter or customer sites as required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with medical devices or regulated industries.
