You will own the validation and automation engineering for WiFi mesh networking equipment, including residential gateways and mesh extenders.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation frameworks for lab test setups and OSS integration.
• Write TR-069 related scripts using Python and Expect to control WiFi devices and orchestrate test scenarios.
• Build command line tools in Java, Python, or Go to collect periodic statistics.
• Execute WiFi connectivity testing, including throughput, latency, mesh roaming, and MU-MIMO performance.
• Debug hardware and network issues using spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and Wireshark.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in validation or automation engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and Expect for software automation.
• Experience writing command line tools in Java, Python, or Go.
• Strong knowledge of WiFi performance testing and RF concepts (splitters, attenuators, antennas).
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, L2 networking, and switches.
• Hands-on experience with Wireshark for debugging.
• Ability to write shell scripts to validate TR-069 routers on a network.
• Experience with lab test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and oscilloscopes.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Octoscope or Veriwave WiFi test equipment.
• Knowledge of L3 networking and routers.
