Description

You will develop, support, and maintain virtual desktop environments and enterprise desktop infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor virtualization environment health and analyze vSphere performance to implement improvements.
• Manage resource realignment to correct under-provisioned and over-provisioned virtual systems.
• Test, upgrade, and migrate virtual environments as new software and hardware versions become available.
• Install, configure, and deploy software packages, security patches, and system policies.
• Create and document virtualization standards, procedures, and feasibility studies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in VDI Systems Engineering.
• Experience managing and supporting vSphere environments.
• Proficiency in application packaging, scripting, and distribution.
• Experience with enterprise desktop environment management and system policy configuration.
• Ability to perform security patching and image management.
• Experience supporting back-end server infrastructure.
• Capability to work in a 24/7 high-availability environment, including on-call rotations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.
