Description

You will develop high-performance 2D/3D visualization tools for complex geospatial and geological datasets.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain graphics-intensive modules using Java and OpenGL.
• Implement advanced 2D and 3D visualization features for seismic, geological, and geospatial data.
• Optimize rendering performance and ensure cross-platform compatibility within Linux environments.
• Collaborate with geoscientists and engineers to translate domain requirements into technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain software quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, specifically focused on graphics or visualization.
• Hands-on experience with OpenGL and related graphics libraries for rendering complex data.
• Strong command of Linux, including shell scripting and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with geoscience data formats and industry-standard visualization techniques.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with C++, Python, or GIS technologies.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Git.
• Experience with Decision Space Geoscience or similar platforms.
