Description

You will manage and scale automated deployments within a VMware cloud-native environment, leading technical design for highly available, fault-tolerant infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Establish standards for deployment, tuning, maintenance, and backup of cloud infrastructure.
• Install, test, and administer virtualization environments using VMware and Hyper-V tools.
• Develop automated incident responses to minimize manual intervention and ensure rapid resolution.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on complex design problems.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of professional experience with VMware services and tools.
• Direct experience administering multiple VMware products across remote locations and data centers.
• 2+ years of programming experience in Python, Java, C++, Perl, Ruby, or advanced Shell scripting.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, GitLab, and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of automated recovery and zero-touch provisioning.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Infrastructure-As-Code, cluster management, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support experience for bare-metal, virtual machines, and cloud-native environments.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes container and microservices principles.
