Roles and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineering leads to develop system requirements.
• Create software test work products including test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for system-level testing.
• Select and integrate appropriate test tools and frameworks to improve test efficiency.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, and reliability testing of complex systems.
• Validate end-to-end system functionality and ensure alignment with system requirements.
• Prepare software test status reports and present status to management and stakeholders.
• Conduct procedure validations, software builds, and test administration.
• Trace system requirements from customer specifications to test cases in JIRA.
• Prepare presentation material and lead internal Test Readiness Reviews.
• Identify, document, and track defects; work closely with development teams for timely resolution.
• Participate in root cause analysis and suggest preventive measures.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior test personnel.
• Maintain the test requirements database and develop test budgets and schedules.
• Evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services.
• Conduct integration and formal system tests.
• Support departmental projects/tasks as directed by Supervisor.

Skills Required:

• Strong experience in manual testing of complex software systems.
• Hands-on experience in automation testing using Selenium.
• Solid experience in API testing using tools such as Postman.
• Good understanding of test automation frameworks and scripting.
• Strong experience in MS SQL for data validation and backend testing.
• Experience in defect tracking and requirement traceability using JIRA.
• Hands-on experience in system-level, integration, and regression testing.
• Good understanding of software testing life cycle and quality assurance processes.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MCA, or a related field
