Description

Senior WCS Developer owning WebSphere Commerce subsystems and API-driven enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Customize WCS subsystems including Order, Member, and Catalog modules.
• Develop and maintain REST handlers for WCS Search and other services.
• Analyze and diagnose issues impacting WebSphere Commerce functional capabilities.
• Ensure implementations meet scalability and reliability requirements for e-commerce operations.
• Handle integrations with external systems using APIs and BOD framework customization.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years overall IT experience with 5+ years of HCL WCS expertise.
• Strong working knowledge of JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, and jQuery.
• Experience with code quality tools like PMD, Checkstyle, and SONAR.
• Proficiency in source control and DevOps tools, specifically Git and Jenkins.
• Hands-on experience with unit testing and WCBD data load procedures.
• Understanding of OMS integration and BOD framework customization.

Preferred Skills

• Working experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript testing frameworks.
