Description

You will develop and maintain core components of the WebKit engine, addressing complex rendering and media issues on Linux.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement features using C and C++ within the WebKit framework.
• Address complex rendering and media issues across Linux environments.
• Maintain and contribute to build systems using CMake.
• Apply strong knowledge of Web Standards (HTTP, TLS, WebSockets) to the codebase.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in C and C++.
• Demonstrable experience with WebKit development on Linux.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Perl.
• Solid understanding of CMake for build management.
• Expert knowledge of Web Standards including HTTP, TLS, and WebSockets.
• Experience with graphics and media technologies like OpenGL and HTMLMediaElement.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Preferred Skills

• Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
