Senior Windows Administrator

You will lead or assist in enabling Windows Defender across 100+ Windows servers.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with system owners to gather installed applications and track required inbound ports.
• Configure Defender firewall exceptions for necessary ports and coordinate enabling times with system owners.
• Assist with LAPs roll out and perform minor troubleshooting on Windows systems related to Active Directory Groups.
• Administer Active Directory, create technical documentation, and troubleshoot Windows systems.

Required Skills

• 7+ years in IT Experience.
• 5+ years of Windows Active Directory Administration experience (Level 2 AD Admin or above).
• Proficiency in PowerShell.
• 2+ years of VMware Administrator experience (Level 1 vSphere Admin or above).
• Familiarity with VMware Workstation or equivalent.
• 2+ years of Basic Network Troubleshooting experience.
• Familiarity with port discovery tools such as Wireshark.
• Proficiency with basic CMD/PowerShell network cmdlets.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and time management skills.
