Description

You will manage Windows and Unix systems administration, Microsoft 365 government tenant operations, and SharePoint Online implementation within a Texas State Data Center environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform OS support, patching, and security vulnerability remediation for Windows and Unix systems.
• Automate daily system administration processes using Microsoft PowerShell scripting.
• Administer, configure, and support SharePoint Online, including site planning, design, and implementation.
• Troubleshoot complex implementation and maintenance issues for system software and operating systems.
• Develop technical and user documentation for system applications and create usage reporting dashboards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in systems administration or security administration.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure administration in a Hybrid joined domain model.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Direct experience with SharePoint Online and 3rd party SharePoint management tools.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, PowerApps, and PowerBI.
• Proven ability in Windows and Unix OS support and security remediation.
• Experience working within a Texas State agency or government tenant environment.
• Ability to test systems and applications against functional requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using 3rd party SharePoint management and reporting tools.
