Description

You will own the Windows desktop environment, focusing on automation, deployment, and advanced troubleshooting to ensure system stability and efficiency.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated solutions to streamline technical processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot escalated OS and software issues, providing engineering-level fixes for wide-scale deployment.
• Create SCCM audits and SQL reports to meet specific operational and compliance requirements.
• Provide third-level technical expertise to support on-call personnel during major incidents.
• Drive service and process improvements through clear documentation and cross-team collaboration.

Required Skills

• 7-9 years of experience in an IT services organization, with at least 2 years in client-facing third-level support roles.
• Expert-level knowledge of Windows OS internals, including registry, file system, and Event logs.
• Advanced SCCM skills covering deployment, packaging, patching, reporting, and task sequences.
• Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting, alongside VBScript and Batch.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL database query constructs and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• At least 3 years of experience working within ITIL-implemented environments.
• Proven project management ability, including meeting scheduling and technical documentation.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and DevOps workflows.
• Experience with ServiceNow automation, Visio, and Project management tools.
• Knowledge of Automation Architecture and workflow orchestration.
