Description

You will manage and optimize Windows Server operating systems across geographically dispersed virtualized and physical environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer, support, and optimize Windows Server 2022 and later in ESX and physical hardware environments.
• Execute system patching, upgrades, capacity planning, and performance monitoring.
• Resolve technical problems and respond to support tickets to meet published SLAs.
• Implement and maintain security procedures and SOX controls for financial systems.
• Manage mass storage allocation, system documentation, and backup recovery processes.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience with Windows Server 2022 or later.
• Proficiency in PowerShell or other scripting languages for automation.
• Hands-on experience supporting Windows Servers in an ESX virtual environment.
• Experience managing Windows Servers on physical hardware.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage data migration and server upgrade processes.
• 6 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 4 years with a Master’s degree. 4 years of related exempt experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of SAN storage, ESX Virtual Center, and Simplivity hardware.
