Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain WLAN features for IEEE 802.11 devices, including protocol behavior and real-world performance tuning.
• Work with wpa-supplicant and Android connectivity framework/HAL to ensure reliable Wi-Fi connectivity and integration.
• Implement or optimize Wi-Fi standards and related specifications (IEEE 802.11 and WFA specifications) for production use.
• Apply TCP/IP networking knowledge for embedded socket-based communication and network interaction.
• Use embedded development tools, debuggers, and protocol analyzers to diagnose issues and validate fixes across WLAN chips and firmware.

Skills Required:

• 3 - 8 years of experience in WLAN/Wi-Fi driver, firmware, or connectivity engineering
• WiFi and WLAN driver development experience
• Working knowledge of wpa-supplicant, Android connectivity framework, and HAL integration
• Hands-on understanding of IEEE 802.11 (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac) and Wi-Fi Direct
• TCP/IP networking fundamentals with sockets, plus embedded debugging using debuggers and protocol analyzers

Good to Have:

• Android experience
• RTOS exposure for embedded platforms
• Board bring-up and hardware handling experience

Education: Relevant engineering degree (or equivalent practical experience)
