Description

You will lead the implementation of a new content management system infrastructure, guiding the transition from legacy systems while providing technical direction to agency staff.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation efforts and manage the migration of existing systems and functionality to the new CMS platform.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to prioritize project tasks and assignments.
• Analyze current systems to identify migration requirements and recreate functionality in the new environment.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to agency staff during the transition.
• Work independently to meet project goals and escalate issues as required.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in web development.
• Extensive experience and deep expertise with WordPress.
• Hands-on proficiency with HTML, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, and web standards.
• Proficiency in web programming and working with APIs.
• Experience managing migrations from legacy systems to new web applications.
• Ability to communicate technical requirements to both business and IT representatives.
