Description

Lead the implementation of a new content management system infrastructure, guiding the transition from legacy platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation efforts and manage the migration of existing functionality to the new CMS.
• Analyze current systems to identify technical requirements for recreation on new platforms.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to prioritize project tasks and assignments.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to agency staff and IT representatives.
• Communicate project status and technical constraints to both business and technical teams.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in web development.
• Deep expertise with WordPress, including theme and plugin development.
• Hands-on proficiency with HTML, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with web programming and working with REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of UI principles, cross-browser compatibility, and web standards.
• Proven track record migrating functionality from legacy systems to modern platforms.
• Ability to work independently and escalate issues effectively.
