Lead the migration from Boomi to Workato while designing Model Context Protocol (MCP) bridges for AI agents.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the phased migration of Boomi process-centric flows to composable, event-driven architectures on Workato, ensuring parallel operation during transition.
• Re-engineer legacy Boomi integrations (APIs, ETL, processes) into native Workato recipes and low-code solutions.
• Design and implement MCP servers and bridges to expose application data and logic as context for LLMs like Claude and Google Vertex.
• Build semantic layers that allow AI agents to understand enterprise system state without direct database access.
• Develop agentic workflows for AIOps to enable bots to resolve production incidents autonomously.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Workato, including recipe design, SDK, On-prem agents, and API platform.
• Deep understanding of Boomi (Atom, Molecule, Process building) to assess and replace legacy integrations.
• Proven experience implementing Model Context Protocol (MCP) and integrating with AI frameworks (LangChain, OpenAI, Claude).
• Proficiency in REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and JDBC protocols.
• Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL and MySQL; experience with JSON/XML data structures.
• Expertise in OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML, OIDC, and encryption standards on AWS.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience replacing Boomi with Workato in an enterprise environment.
• Experience building MCP servers for SaaS applications.
