Design and implement scalable GCP architectures and data solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design GCP architecture and cloud strategies for efficient resource utilization.
• Build and manage scalable, reliable cloud solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Implement best practices and standards for cloud-based data processing and storage.
• Evaluate new GCP technologies and trends for client solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Hands-on implementation with BigQuery, Dataflow, Bigtable, and Dataform.
• Proficiency with Data Fusion, Cloud Spanner, and Cloud SQL.
• Programmatic experience using Python, Javascript, and Apache Spark.
• Degree in any graduate field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating legacy data warehouses or on-prem data lakes to GCP.
• Experience building real-time ingestion and processing frameworks on GCP.
