Description

You will build and maintain core Java 17 services in a cloud environment, developing microservices and APIs from scratch.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop microservices and write APIs using AWS services like DynamoDB and Kinesis.
• Maintain components that publish real-time event updates to other IT platforms.
• Write readable, testable, and maintainable code, collaborating with QA for validation.
• Solve complex integration problems and evaluate integration tools.
• Support integrations across production, UAT, system test, and development environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert proficiency in Java.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture.
• Working knowledge of AWS, including CloudFormation scripting.
• Experience implementing Kafka for event streaming.
• Familiarity with DynamoDB.
• Proficiency with JUnit for automated unit testing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating with Kong API Management.
