Description

You will act as a technical lead and individual contributor, focusing on backend development and system architecture. Approximately 80% of your time is dedicated to active development.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, production-ready code and troubleshoot complex technical issues across the stack.
• Design and implement scalable microservices architectures.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to integrate services and refine system design.
• Maintain high code quality through rigorous unit testing and code coverage practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot and the Spring framework.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture and REST APIs.
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).
• Practical knowledge of Oracle and NoSQL databases, specifically Cassandra or Couchbase.
• Solid understanding of System Design principles.
• Experience using Jira for task tracking and project management.

Preferred Skills

• Deep understanding of code coverage fundamentals and testing automation.
