Description

You will lead the development of APIs and microservices using Node.js and Fastify, managing the full lifecycle from technical design to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development team in building and deploying scalable APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with architects to create detailed technical designs aligned with project requirements.
• Oversee integration of databases, external APIs, and workflows/ESBs to ensure seamless data flow.
• Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and enforce engineering best practices.
• Automate build and deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins and Codefresh.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in a Lead or Senior Developer role.
• Expertise in Node.js and Fastify development.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerization.
• Proficiency with OpenShift and AWS cloud services.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Codefresh.
• Ability to build and maintain Swagger specifications for API documentation.
• Skilled in data modelling and mapping to ensure system data integrity.
• Strong ability to debug complex systems independently.
