Description

You will lead the development of transactional processing for high-volume, low-latency decisioning and backend analytic applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Drive software architecture in collaboration with architects and stakeholders to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to rapidly develop, test, and deploy platform features.
• Mentor and coach developing engineers while establishing software engineering standards and processes.
• Improve engineering practices to support efficiency, reliability, and serviceability goals.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on coding experience in C/C++ and Java.
• Experience designing and operating commercial software that executes in low milliseconds.
• Proficiency with JSON, XML, gRPC, REST, and TCP protocols.
• Experience with Linux operating systems and Unix scripting.
• Experience deploying cloud infrastructure such as AWS.
• Practical knowledge of domain-driven, event-driven, and microservices architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools including Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as Oracle and Couchbase.

Preferred Skills

• Python programming experience.
• Experience managing containers using Docker and the Kubernetes ecosystem.
• Experience with caching technologies.
