Description

You will lead the architecture and development of low-latency, high-volume transactional processing and backend analytic systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of transactional systems executing in low milliseconds.
• Drive software platform design in collaboration with architects and stakeholders.
• Integrate with Agile teams to continuously improve engineering and deployment practices.
• Collaborate with QA engineers to design and implement comprehensive testing strategies.
• Mentor and coach developing engineers within the team.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong hands-on coding experience in C/C++ and Java.
• Extensive experience designing and operating commercial software executing in low milliseconds.
• Experience with domain-driven, event-driven, and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems and Unix scripting.
• Hands-on experience deploying cloud infrastructure such as AWS.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including Oracle.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and tools including Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Proficiency in building, tracking, and communicating progress within Agile processes.

Preferred Skills

• Python experience.
• Experience managing containers using Docker and the Kubernetes ecosystem.
• Experience with caching technologies.
