Description

You will build and maintain shared server infrastructure and libraries to support multiple game teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain shared server infrastructure and common tool frameworks.
• Identify and refactor problematic areas within the codebase.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers on feature development and debugging.
• Research and integrate third-party APIs such as Facebook and Upsight.
• Conduct on-site interviews for engineering candidates.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in dynamically typed languages: PHP, Ruby, or Python.
• Professional experience with MySQL or another RDBMS.
• Experience with modern version control systems like Git or Mercurial.
• Ability to perform light front-end work using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Statistics, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Couchbase, Memcached, Redis, or MongoDB.
