Description

You will build and refactor high-scale APIs and microservices to support member services and downstream applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and refactor APIs to support high-scale member services.
• Write infrastructure-as-code templates using CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Contribute code and tests following product team criteria.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and support applications in production.
• Collaborate with product owners to break down and plan sprint work.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional API development experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience with TypeScript and Node.
• Experience with Docker and AWS.
• Experience deploying and maintaining microservices.
• Experience deploying and maintaining services in production serving millions of users.
• Ability to troubleshoot production applications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience deploying and maintaining services on AWS, specifically ECS, EKS, ELB, and RDS.
• Experience translating large features into software designs.
