Description
You will build and maintain the Backend for Frontend (BFF) API layer for a mobile service used by millions of cardholders.
Responsibilities
- Design technical solutions for open-ended problems.
- Build and maintain server-side applications and API layers.
- Write, refactor, and delete code to maintain a clean codebase.
- Perform performance analysis and optimization.
- Integrate with bespoke legacy backend services.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in server-side engineering.
- Proficiency in Java.
- Proficiency in Kotlin.
- Experience with GraphQL.
- Experience with RESTful APIs.
- Experience using Gradle and other build tools.
- Experience with asynchronous code and unit testing.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and fixing bugs.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
