Description

You will build and maintain the Backend for Frontend (BFF) API layer for a mobile service used by millions of cardholders.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design technical solutions for open-ended problems and build server-side applications.
• Maintain a clean codebase by writing, refactoring, and deleting code as needed.
• Perform performance analysis and optimization for critical API endpoints.
• Integrate with bespoke legacy backend services using modern patterns.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in server-side engineering.
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
• Experience with GraphQL and RESTful APIs.
• Experience using Gradle and other build tools.
• Experience with asynchronous code and unit testing.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and debugging.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
