Description

You will lead the technical design and implementation of scalable backend systems for B2B SaaS applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design scalable, reliable backend systems using Node.js.
• Build RESTful APIs, web services, and GraphQL integrations for frontend and third-party SaaS communication.
• Design and implement Elasticsearch-based search and data querying solutions.
• Develop solutions for data storage, retrieval, and processing using relational and NoSQL databases.
• Mentor junior developers through code reviews and the definition of development standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a hands-on software architect.
• 3+ years of experience designing and developing backend systems with Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
• Proven experience scaling cloud-native B2B SaaS applications through 1→10 or 10→100 growth phases.
• Expertise in microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
• Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, DocumentDB, and OpenSearch.
• Proficiency with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and computer science fundamentals.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ruby on Rails or Golang.
