Description

Lead technical design and implementation of scalable backend systems for B2B SaaS applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design scalable, reliable backend systems using Node.js.
• Build RESTful APIs and web services to facilitate frontend-backend communication.
• Design Elasticsearch-based search and data querying solutions integrated with GraphQL APIs.
• Develop integrations with third-party SaaS applications using SDKs and REST APIs.
• Mentor junior developers through code reviews and define development standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years as a hands-on software architect.
• 3+ years developing backend systems with Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
• Experience scaling cloud-native SaaS applications through 1→10 or 10→100 growth stages.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Proficiency with AWS services including EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, DocumentDB, and OpenSearch.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL database technologies.
• Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ruby on Rails or Golang.
