Description

You will validate and configure x86 server platforms through test plan development, lab debugging, and automation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure x86 server platforms for validation.
• Develop and execute test plans covering Operating Systems, Virtualization, and System Stress Applications.
• Support lab debug activities to resolve hardware and software issues.
• Automate server configuration and testing workflows using scripting and tools.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in server validation or system engineering.
• Strong understanding of x86 server system architecture, OS, device drivers, and BIOS ACPI.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Ruby, or Perl.
• Experience with automation tools like Ansible and Jenkins.
• Hands-on experience with MS Windows and Linux OS setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies, specifically VMware.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Xen or KVM virtualization environments.
