Description

Validate performance and architecture of next-generation AMD server platforms and AI accelerators.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Analyze benchmark results and performance metrics to identify bottlenecks in SoC, system, and benchmarks.
• Research architectural trade-offs focusing on memory hierarchy, storage, scheduling, and I/O devices.
• Execute industry-standard benchmarks and collect data from CPU performance counters.
• Evaluate system performance using OS fundamentals and Linux performance analysis tools.
• Develop test automation and scripts to streamline validation workflows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in hardware validation or performance engineering.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Bash, and Python for scripting and automation.
• Deep understanding of computer system architecture and OS internals.
• Experience with Linux performance analysis tools and methods.
• Experience executing industry-standard benchmarks and test workloads.
• Knowledge of PCIe testing and hardware validation processes.
• Familiarity with AI tools like Claude and Copilot for development assistance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with benchmarks such as STREAM, SPECCPU2017, HPL, DGEMM, and SPECJbb.
• Knowledge of I/O tools like Infiniband, iPerf3, and FIO.

Bachelor's degree required.
