Description

You will build and maintain serverless architectures on AWS, focusing on Node.js runtime upgrades, security remediation, and new feature development.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade Node.js runtimes for existing Lambda functions from v18 to v20/v22.
• Remediate security issues to meet NYDFS Cybersecurity requirements.
• Implement new and update existing Lambda functions for feature development.
• Route event data to the data lake for new transactions.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript (Node.js).
• Experience designing serverless applications using AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and EventBridge.
• Practical knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Degree in any field of study.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines via AWS CDK.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Bamboo, CloudForge, or GitHub Actions.
