Description

Design, develop, and maintain serverless applications on AWS, focusing on runtime upgrades, security remediation, and new feature implementation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade Node.js runtimes for existing Lambdas from v18 to v20/v22.
• Remediate security issues adhering to NYDFS Cybersecurity requirements.
• Implement new Lambdas and update existing ones for feature development.
• Process event data to the data lake for new transactions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript (Node.js).
• Experience designing serverless apps using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and EventBridge.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience monitoring and optimizing application performance and cost.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using AWS CDK.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Bamboo or GitHub Actions.
