You will oversee daily service department operations, ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality repairs, and profitable performance across Indiana locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and develop a team of service advisors and technicians to maintain high performance standards.
• Manage the complete service workflow, including technician accountability, repair documentation, and timely vehicle completion.
• Communicate proactively with customers regarding repair status, cost estimates, and necessary authorizations.
• Conduct periodic spot checks and road tests to verify workmanship quality and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor performance metrics such as revenue, profitability, and efficiency while ensuring safety and environmental regulations are met.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of technical experience in the medium/heavy duty truck industry.
• Valid Class “B” CDL with air brake endorsement.
• Strong understanding of OEM policies, warranty procedures, and federal/state regulations (OSHA, EPA).
• Ability to interpret vendor guidelines and warranty approval processes.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage schedules, and foster a culture of growth.
• Superior problem-solving and organizational skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Self-motivated with the flexibility to adapt to changing operational needs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CDK Sales Overdrive and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Background in managing parts orders and coordinating with parts managers.
