Description

You will perform IP analytics and technical research within the electronics and telecommunications sectors.

Responsibilities

• Execute patent landscape, white space analysis, competitive benchmarking, and technology scouting.
• Conduct comprehensive searches across patent and non-patent databases.
• Perform statistical analysis and categorize patent publications and non-patent literature into technology sub-areas.
• Support client strategy development by identifying market trends, opportunities, and threats.
• Assist with project management, including conducting reviews, reporting, and generating sales collateral.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics and Communication, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in IP analytics services for Analyst level, or 8+ years for Lead level.
• Technical proficiency in evaluating technology features in Electronics, Telecommunication, and Computer Science.
• Strong knowledge of US and EP Patent Laws.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and verbal/written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Derwent Innovation or Innography.
• Advanced MS Excel skills including VBA and data handling.
• Working knowledge of PowerBI, Tableau, AI/ML, or Blockchain.
