Description

Provide technical assistance and desktop management support during a transition to a new Microsoft Tenant and independent desktop management model.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support the Office 365 environment, including Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Deliver hands-on and remote functional assistance to business and technical users.
• Manage remote PC setup, application installations, and desktop imaging.
• Manage PC specifications and purchasing processes.
• Support on-site users during required weekly office visits.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in desktop support.
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft 365, specifically Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
• 5+ years of experience managing PC specifications and purchasing.
• 5+ years of experience with desktop imaging and application installation.
• 3+ years of excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage highly complex work efforts and provide leadership to others.
• Capability to work independently without assistance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting IT for employees of the State of NC.
• Microsoft certifications.
• 5+ years of experience supporting A/V equipment.
